Playing in the playroom

Louise’s and Zak’s puppies are now over 7 weeks old and let me tell you what a pack of 7 week olds are like! They will get into everything they can get into, just like toddlers! Today in the playroom three of them dragged the castle across the room, several of them took down the little rugs we sit on and dragged them into their potty box and they all ran around hopping, climbing and jumping onto and into everything! It was hilarious!

But pick up one puppy at a time and they are just little babies who want to snuggle. They are just SO adorable!

Summer puppies!

Our 2 week old summer puppies from Violet and Zak are just opening their little eyes.

And our 6 week old puppies from Louise and Zak are hopping around the playroom and socializing with our “Puppy Buddies.”  They are a gentle bunch and so affectionate!

Our summer puppies

Our Summer puppies!

These are the adorable sweeties that will be growing up here at Berkshire Hills this summer. Louise’s seven babies and Violet’s eleven babies!

Louise’s seven puppies are four weeks old and are out in the puppy house where they can play with each other and our “puppy buddies.”  They are eating solid food but still getting sweet warm milk from mama!  The puppy house is cooler in the summer so these cuties are handling the heat pretty well.

Violet’s babies are only six days old, still blind and deaf. They are cuddled up in our whelping room next to our bedrooms. Violet is keeping them well fed and happy, such a great mom!  The dad is Gemstone’s Topazolite (our Zak) for both litters!

Paloma’s pups are growing up and have been matched to their families!

Paloma’s 7 puppies all have such even temperaments, are super people oriented and affectionate and ever so confident. Winning combination!

They will be going to their new homes in two weeks. Hooray for you little puppies!

Today at puppy buddies Eleanor and Paloma’s puppies were climbing up in our laps for cuddles and trying out all of the toys. Such a curious and happy go lucky group!

MOTHER’S DAY!

Happy Mother’s day to all of you!

Mama Eleanor and Mama Paloma enjoyed a beautiful lilac scented day sunning themselves and tending to their babies.

These puppies are some of our most social beings. They just love people even at the tender age of 3 weeks!

Busy week

It was a busy week for puppies!

Eleanor had her ten puppies last week and Paloma had her seven this week.

They are getting fat and beautiful, simply scrumptious!!

Puppies head home!

Winnie and Rex’s delightful puppies head home this week.

I am very pleased with Winnie’s first puppies. They all have that wonderful soulfulness that Winnie’s line is known for and Rex brings in a terrific confidence that was evident in the puppies early on.

We did get one surprise, a very tiny and wonderful surprise name Sophie. She is only 3 lbs and is a little curly red girl with the happiest of personalities. For those who have met her they have witnessed her happy bounciness and the tail that never stops wagging, but she always keeps up with her big brothers and sisters!

So congratulations on your new homes, Nellie, Twyla (will stay here at BH), Sophie, Moose, Green boy,  Pink girl, Lego, Seamus, Jezebel, and Milan!
